Recognising, celebrating and rewarding the unsung heroes who change lives every day.
Entry deadline: 31 March 2006.
The Tackling Drugs Changing Lives campaign has launched an awards scheme to find the drug worker and team of the year. This will reward an individual and a team who have really made a difference in their local community. We are looking for people who go the extra mile every day – either working in treatment centres, educating young people about the dangers of drugs, or supporting families of service users.
Anyone can nominate a drug worker or team for the awards, whether they are colleagues, friends, family, or current or ex-service users. To enter simply complete the nomination form and return by 31 March 2006.
The winners will be announced on 23 May – National Tackling Drugs Day.
