Monitoring And Audit Manager (Newcastle) Ref. 08/23

Reporting to the Chief Executive, managing a small team you will be directly responsible for monitoring and evaluating contractual performance throughout NECA. Main duties and responsibilities include devising and maintaining systems, policies, controls and procedures for monitoring and evaluating quantitative and qualitative data, submission of data to senior management / external stakeholders; monitoring, evaluation and review of contracts and service level agreements; conducting audits and providing reports to senior management; and managing the IT function. You will have the IIA Diploma in Internal Audit Practice or be qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline and have in-depth experience and functional knowledge of database and management information systems and related packages gained in a statistical or financial job role. In addition you will have strong analytical, problem solving skills and be able to communicate effectively with departments across the business / external stakeholders. Ideally you will also have experience of marketing database products to external organisations. This is a key position providing the opportunity to make a real contribution to operational efficiency resulting in added value to the organisation. Structured Treatment Team / Lead Practitioner (Derwentside) Ref. 08/24

The post holder will be required to deliver advice, guidance, and group work, therapeutic interventions and one to one structured psychological therapies. This will include carrying out the function of Lead Practitioner for NECA staff working within a multi agency team; lead on and deliver treatment interventions for clients; undertake comprehensive assessment of need and detailed risk assessment; address substance misuse issues that are preventing the client from taking positive steps using approaches such as Motivational Enhancement therapy, Solution Focussed Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. The successful candidate will have the appropriate skills to engage with service users and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Previous experience of working in the field of substance misuse, and qualified to Diploma level in health and social care, youth and community, nursing or counselling are essential requirements for this position.
