North East Equality Awards September 22, 2011
I am delighted to announce that NECA have been short listed as a finalist for the North East Equality Awards due to take place on 21st October 2011.
The awards, organised by Equality North East, have become a prestigious event in the North East Calendar. They recognise and celebrate the good equality practice being carried out by employers and individuals in the region.
Liz Reay, Chief Executive of Equality North East, has reported that the number and standard of applications is getting higher every year and that this year the competition has never been harder.
To be recognised as a finalist is a huge achievement and demonstrates the organisation’s commitment to the promotion of equality and diversity.
