Aiming to provide accurate, appropriate and factual information which is accessible and meaningful to all. Advice and information may be provided by a variety of means, including verbal, written, audio visual, face to face, or by telephone. Advice and information should be available to drug and alcohol users and their families, friends, the wider community and other professions.
To enable staff to provide the best possible service to both clients and the general public all Information Shop workers undergo NVQ Level 3 training in advice and guidance.
