We specialise in the search and identification of suitably trained and experienced candidates in the area of substance use/misuse for temporary assignments or permanent appointments in the Health and Social Care sector. We also provide administration workers for short or long term assignments.
We work with professional candidates in this sector focusing on their career development and, in partnership with NECA Training Ltd, we offer free, recognised training in various relevant Courses.

As part of the package we offer candidates, NECA Recruitment is able to provide substance misuse training at no charge to the candidate. This demonstrates our pledge that all candidates will be “fit for purpose” to work in the Health & Social Care industry specifically in the substance misuse sector,
Our training is delivered by highly qualified IfL registered trainers who are experts in their field, and all courses are designed and delivered in accordance with awarding body and OFSTED guidelines. With NCFE, City & Guilds, NOCN and Edexcel centre status NECA Training is recognised as a quality training provider in the UK and is also a holder of the MATRIX standard.
NECA Occupational Standards Certificate – Substance Misuse
NECA Recruitment offer candidates the opportunity to complete our core competency training before commencing any assignment. This can be completed by individual courses or in a 5 day block course. All units in the certificate are accredited by a recognised board incorporating DANOS and other relevant National Occupational Standards. Certificates of attendance will be awarded.

Assessment & Care planning (2 day session)
Further Training
Candidates are also encouraged to complete training as part of their ongoing personal development and to demonstrate our commitment to supplying candidates that are trained to the highest level with the most relevant, up to date training available. Courses available include:- Equality & Diversity, Blood Bourne Virus Awareness, Dealing with Aggressive and Abusive Behaviour, Harm Reduction/Risk Assessment, Safeguarding Adults (POVA), Raising Awareness of Substance misuse in pregnancy, What is reasonable force?
