S.H.A.R.P. - is North Tyneside's Needle exchange service, which offers:

Confidential information, advice & support
Free sterile injecting equipment
Access (referrals) to other agencies & services
C-card scheme for under 25’s
Sexual health advice available to under 25’s

Open Access sessions are available to discuss and advise on:

Health Education / Healthy Living, Overdose prevention, Safer Injecting, Support into Work and Further Education, Housing support, Sexual health, Budgeting, Welfare Rights & Benefits, Reduction strategies, Service User group.

Opening Times: Monday/Wed/Fri 10.00-18.00, Tues/Thurs 10.00-21.00, Sat/Sun 14.00-21.00

Mobile Needle Exchange Service

S.H.A.R.P. Needle Exchange also provides a mobile service which offers greater discretion and increased accessibility:
