The Supported Housing project is a partnership between NECA and The Community Addictions Team. The aim is to provide short –term, fully furnished, supported accommodation to single people who are homeless or whose current accommodation prevents a recovery from substance dependency, who would benefit from a period of support and life skills training prior to independent living. All of the tenants will have completed or in the process of completing a treatment programme for drug and/or alcohol dependency. Applicants must be age 18 years or over and be from the Wansbeck Area.

Referrals are currently exclusive to the community addictions team.
