Auricular Acupuncture This is a specific form of acupuncture for substance misuse. Five very fine needles are inserted into each ear, this can help with withdrawal symptoms, cravings, enhance relaxation and settle disturbed sleep patterns.

Held on Monday to Friday from 3.00 p.m. till 4.00 p.m.

Auricular acupuncture (5 point ear acupuncture) is available. The points used represent the liver, lungs, kidney's and emotional wellbeing. The benefits can be - symptomatic relief from withdrawal, improved sleep, relaxation and a feeling of calm.

This project offers a range of treatment options including Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Auricular acupuncture. Once a client is referred for therapy they will be offered an appointment to complete a health assessment, following the assessment stage clients are then offered 6 sessions.

The service is available to males and females, aged 16 years upwards.
